I was so fortunate to have so many quilters test this pattern! Here are all of their creations:
Karen’s light grey background makes the pink pop! Anything pink just makes me happy!
I absolutely love the dark pink border on Marjo’s quilt! She used the Lugu line by Jessica Swift, and I’m in love with it!
Paula got creative and chose a different fabric for the sashing and border. Isn’t this such pretty fabric?! Paula was the first tester to finish her quilt. After seeing her quilt, I couldn’t wait to get photos of all of the other testers’ quilts!
Anne-Marie used such a fun fabric line! She and I both battled with directional backgrounds. Her blocks look amazing, you can tell she put a lot of effort into her blocks!
ORANGE! How fun is this quilt! Alisha’s stars look amazing, the orange really accentuate the points on her blocks.
Nancy used the cutest background, Farmer’s Market by Clothworks! I love the mix of colors in her blocks!
Ashley was crazy ambitious and made 2 quilts! One is Thanksgiving themes and the other is Christmas themed but could also work for a birthday theme. I love that she organized her blocks in diagonal rows, it really unifies her quilts!
Char also used different sashing than her block backgrounds. She also made a very pretty Christmas quilt. There is just something about the traditional reds and greens of Christmas that warms the heart!
Carol’s blocks really pop out with the black and white backgrounds! I love the contrast of the opposite backgrounds.
Thank you to all my amazing testers! It was so fun to see all of your creativity, and the way Northbound came alive with all of the different colorways in each quilt.
