Strip ‘n Stitch Free Table Runner
Hey quilting friends!
I have been looking for a way to use up some leftover scraps from my stash! What better way than with a small project like a table runner? Needing some quiltspiration, I headed over to Pinterest! There is such a plethora of information and knowledge on that app! Did you know it is a actually a search engine, not a social media outlet? I mainly use it for quilts and recipes.
I knew I wanted this pattern to be fast and simple; a project that would take less than 2 hours to build, from cut to finish. Next, I analyzed my stash leftovers to see what types of scraps I had the most of that matched. Once in a while I enjoy scrappy projects if the scraps all come from the same line of fabric or different lines from the same designer, like Bonnie and Camille. Digging through my stash, I found quite a few leftover 5 in. squares from the fabric line Nocturnal for Moda. I also had a basic white on white swiss dot that I could utilize for the background fabric. You can download a copy of the Strip ‘n Stitch table runner here Strip n Stitch Runner Free.

To make this runner, you will need (37) 2.5 in. x 5 in. print rectangles, (4) 2.5 in. x WOF background strips, and (2) 2.5 in. x 22 in. background rectangles.
Time to Sew!
Assembling this runner is very fast and east! Sew together (18) 2.5 in. x 5 in. print rectangles along the long sides. Then, sew together (8) 2.5 in. x 5 in. print rectangles along the short end.
